About the Artwork:

In September 2020, many places in California were suffering by devastating wildfires. This piece is inspired by the red lit sky filled of smoke in San Francisco. Although it was a tragic event that left many endangered and feeling helpless, you couldn't help but notice the eerie beauty of it all. Colors that are not normally seen from the sky to the reflection in the water engulfed many cities, creating a monochromatic palette within the surrounding environment. All you could really do was just watch everything burn
