About the Artwork:

“Heart of a Coward” represents the feeling of not being courageous to take certain actions, to say feelings, or to stand up for yourself. With missed opportunities to do so, it becomes dark and solitary. It brings upon questioning yourself about why or how it is difficult to be courageous, and why it takes so much courage in the first place.
